Survived By: Surviving are her husband, Raymond Vaughn of Fort Wayne, son, Dean (Kelley) Groo, daughters, Michelle (Steven) Wyatt, June (David) Emerick, brother, Dean (Dian) Hager, sister, Daniece Oldfield, step-sons, Raymond Vaughn Jr., Scott (Teresa) Vaughn, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Evalyn was preceded in death by parents, Daniel and Mildred Hager, and brother, Daniel Hager. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Service of Northeast Indiana or North East Indiana Kidney Foundation.

Evie was a good friend both at Minot Junior High and at our church, St. Paul's Lutheran where her family was very active. We were confirmed together at St. Paul's and remained good friends throughout high school and until the Hager's moved to Ft. Wayne.
