Gerald F. "Jerry" Pratt, 74, Fargo, ND died on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo.

Gerald Franklin "Jerry" Pratt was born December 24, 1942, in Minot, ND, the son of Ernest and Myrtle (Klungness) Pratt. He was raised in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1961. He attended North Dakota State University, graduating with a pharmacy degree in 1967. He married Nordis Oksendahl in 1966; they later divorced. He married Linda Prestemon in 1994 and later divorced, and married Carla Braaten in 2005 and later divorced. He lived and worked in pharmacies and drugstores in several locations in Minnesota and North Dakota, before retiring in Fargo in 2008.

Family meant everything to Jerry - his siblings, his nieces and nephews, and most importantly, his three sons and his grandchildren. He was proud of any of their accomplishments, big or small, and always tried to be there, despite the distances of the family. He also loved to volunteer his time - a member of the Sebeka and Bagley Lions Clubs, co-chair of the Relay for Life of Clearwater County, and spent two weeks each year before and after retirement to go to Honduras with Rotary International as the group's pharmacist. He loved to be helpful and was willing to lend a hand or anything else whenever and wherever he could.

Jerry is survived by his sons Justin of Seattle, WA, Alex (Katie) of Red Wing, MN, and Andrew of Valley City, ND; grandchildren Issac, Riley, and Nikolai Pratt, and step-grandchildren Aryiana and Kaynen Malec; sister Virginia Hampton of St. Cloud, MN, and brother James (Donna) of Mesa, AZ; sisters-in-law Augusta of St. Louis Park, MN, and Meredith of Bismarck, ND; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and his three dogs, Hannah, Bruce, and Teddy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters-in-law Charles "Chop" and Kathy, Richard, and Donald; sister and brothers-in-law, Alice Lorraine and Richard "Sis and Bud" Olson, and Ray Hampton; and a nephew Greg Hampton.

Funeral: Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11 AM at West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial: Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 10 AM at Rosehill Cemetery, Minot, ND.
