Dawn V. Huso, 71, Minot, died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in a Minot hospital, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dawn V. Ronglien was born on September 16, 1943, a daughter of Alfred and Cora (Asleson) Ronglien in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Minot, graduating from Minot High School in 1961. On September 24, 1961, Dawn was united in marriage to John Huso in Minot. They made their home in Minot, where Dawn was a homemaker, raising the couple’s three children. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, decorating her home, caring for others, the occasional trip to the casino and loved a good bargain. Dawn is survived by: Husband of 53 years, John R. Huso, Minot; children: Rhonda (Bob) Pederson, Minot, Steve Huso, Minot, Karla (Rich) Gulling, Cheney, WA; grandchildren: Shekae (Eric) Hanson, Matthew Pederson, Cassie (Michael) Bleam, Aaron Gulling, Great-grandchildren: Bethany Bleam and Riley Bleam, Skylar Gulling; Siblings: Delores Lubanski, Spokane, WA, Alfred Ronglien, Minot, Donald (Mary Lou) Ronglien, Minot, ND; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mary Ellen Atkinson and Barb Storud, and a grandson Brendan Lee Pederson. Memorials may be given in Dawn’s name to the Second Story of Minot.
