I knew Margie before we started school. We went to the same church (Bethany Lutheran Church). When we were in Confirmation class on one particular saturday morning she told me that she was sick and might not live to be very old. I felt so bad for her. I remember that she couldn't go to Bible Camp with Judy Martinson and me that summer because of illness. I have always remembered that she had Lupus which destroyed her kidneys and caused her to die at such a young age. No kidney transplants in those days. I was so sad when she died.
